How does AI face matching work?
When you upload photos, every detected face is indexed. Guests scan your QR code, upload a selfie, and the system matches their face against your collection—returning all photos they appear in within seconds.
What's live camera ingest?
You can stream photos directly from your camera during the event. Configure your camera to send images over your network, and photos appear in your gallery in real-time as you shoot. Perfect for live event coverage where guests want photos immediately.
How does auto-culling work?
Each uploaded image is analyzed for blur and exposure issues. Failed images are moved to a 'culled' folder where you can review, restore, or permanently delete them. Only your best shots reach the guest gallery.
Can I use my existing Google Drive photos?
Yes. Connect your Google account, browse your Drive folders, and import entire folders into Selfy. Images are indexed for face matching and can be served directly from Drive.
How do watermarks work?
Upload your logo (PNG or JPEG) to any folder. When guests download images from shared galleries, your watermark is applied automatically to the corner of each image.
What happens after hosting expires?
Galleries become inaccessible to guests but your photos remain in storage. You can extend hosting at any time, or upgrade to a plan with longer retention. We never delete your original uploads without your consent.
